Natural Law

Natural Law is a code of God’s laws manifested through infinite wisdom and harmony.  They ensure that Divine Order prevails.  These natural laws are immutable and constant, applying to everything and everyone without exception in both the spiritual and physical worlds.

Natural Laws can be seen as truth in action and have existed since the beginning of time.  Other names for these laws are Universal Laws or Divine Order.

For those of us who wish to develop spiritually, knowledge of the workings and implications of natural law is as essential as meditation and the willingness to serve.  This knowledge teaches us to align our thoughts and actions to these laws, so that their effects are for our greatest benefit and progress.   By doing this, we attain well-being and harmony in our lives.

Natural Laws are interactive and interdependent – one arising from the action of another.  All the laws are teachers, pointing out the effects and ramifications of our thoughts, actions and choices.

The Golden Rule is the first and foremost universally recognized law.

Do unto others as you would wish them to do unto you

The Law of One teaches us there is one Spirit, one creative loving source of life that we know as God.  All other laws are contained in the Law of One.  All living beings, all creation has its life and being in the Law of one, interacting and interlinking within the unity of this law.  What happens to one living being eventually affects all others.   Everything proceeds from the Law of One and returns to this One Source in the fullness of time.  This law is affirmed in our first principle Infinite Spirit, Divine Creator of All that Is and in our second principle Unity and Equality for All.

The Law of Affinity or Resonance links us intuitively to people of similar vibrations to our own, our kindred spirits.  This resonance also applies to places and things and is the result of the Law of Vibration that informs us that everything is in constant state of vibration.  Our rate of vibration determines what resonates with us and what we attract.

The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like.  In other words, what we are we draw into our lives, be it positive or negative people, circumstances or conditions.  The Law of Thought, which dictates the effects of our thinking, interacts with the Law of Attraction.  What we think, we are.  By improving our thoughts, we will also improve our lives, as taught in the Law of Cause and Effect.

The Law of Abundance and Prosperity assures us that there is abundant supply of all that is good.  We can attract this to us by positive thoughts and actions.

The Law of Cause and Effect underscores all the other laws.  For every action or thought, there will be an equal reaction. What we sow we are bound to reap.  Whatsoever we send out into the universe, returns to us in the full circle of Cause and Effect.  Our principle Actions create results according to Natural Law reiterates this law.

The Law of Balance regulates the equilibrium of all things and ensures that all things are justly restored to the inherent balance in the universe.  This assures us that whatever injustices we have suffered will be rectified, though not necessarily in the way we expect.  Therefore, we can let go of resentment and past hurts, because everything will find its balance in the end.  This law also teaches us that moderation in all things is better than extremes.

The Law of Evolution, often considered the Law of Laws, states that everything in the universe is in constant motion and change, progressing along the path of evolution.  This law illustrates perfectly our progress through life from birth to physical death and then onto the life of spirit.  Our fourth and seventh principles, the Continuous Existence of the Soul and Eternal Progress open to every Soul are the workings of this law.

The Law of Desire or Aspiration prompts us to expand our awareness and seek knowledge and truth.  Aspiration is essential to our development as human beings and to the progress of our soul.  Regarding this law, the Master Jesus taught: “Seek and you shall find.  Knock and the door will be opened to you”.

Law of Freedom states that we are free to choose what we want to do in our lives. Our principle of Personal Responsibility for the creation of our own reality through Thought, Word and Deed must be applied to this law.  Life is essentially what we make it.  We choose our own happiness or unhappiness within the Law of Freedom.

The Law of Truth assures us that truth will prevail over ignorance and falsehood. Truth will always triumph.  This law has to do with integrity of thought, life and action.  Individuals who accept personal responsibility for their actions are also willing to face the truth, even if unpleasant.

The Law of Love directs giving and receiving of all that is good and beneficial.  Adherence to this law elevates us to the highest vibration we can attain.  God’s nature is Infinite Love, and it is inherent in all creation.  By opening ourselves to the action of this law, we attune ourselves to the Infinite Spirit, Divine Creator of All That Is.  By aligning ourselves to the process of this law, we serve the kinship of all humanity and participate in the Unity and Equality for All.  By opening ourselves to its blessings, we enjoy Communication, Guidance and Healing from Spirit and Angels.  The Law of Love is the essence and experience of the Law of One.

The Law of Correspondence links everything in the material to its counterpart in the spiritual.  God, the macrocosm, corresponds to Man, the microcosm.  Light corresponds to truth, and darkness to error.  This law is especially important in healing when by treating the etheric body an improvement occurs in the physical body.
